Three Days in the Wilderness -Transformation

Mar 22, 2026

This message reexamines Jonah’s story, not as a fish tale, but as a mirror of our own tendency to run from God when His calling challenges our comfort or judgment. Like Jonah fleeing to Tarshish, we often decide who deserves grace, forgetting that judgment belongs to God. The fish represents the dark places we land when we choose our way over His—yet even there, God brings transformation. Jonah’s three days point to Christ, showing that what feels like the worst can become the best through redemption. Ultimately, we face a choice: the hard of running, which leads to emptiness, or the hard of obedience, which leads to true transformation and the fullness of God’s grace.
