Finding God in the Pain

Sunday, Robert challenged us to consider what truly has our attention and whether we're making room for God amid life's distractions. In Luke 24, two disciples walked with Jesus on the Road to Emmaus but didn't recognize Him because of their grief and confusion. Their story reminds us that distractions, pain, busyness, and unmet expectations can keep us from seeing God's presence in our own lives. 

As Jesus opened the Scriptures, their hearts burned within them, revealing that true transformation comes from encountering Christ, not simply finding answers. The invitation is clear: create space to be with God, listen for His voice, and desire Him more than comfort, validation, or distraction. When we step away from the noise and walk closely with Him, our lives begin to change.
