Found by the Light

Jonathan Gray

This week's sermon took us deep into Isaiah 9, a prophecy written 700 years before Jesus was born. We explored how God speaks from eternity into history, declaring hope to people walking in darkness. Isaiah's words weren't just beautiful poetry for Christmas cards—they were God's promise that a Savior would come to the most broken, forgotten places. Just as Jesus began His ministry in Galilee (the regions of Zebulun and Naphtali—the first to fall, the last anyone expected God to choose), He meets us in our darkest moments today. The place you've fallen hardest is exactly where Jesus does His best work.
