The Resilient Life
Mar 30, 2025 • Marcia Pitman
We are challenged to embrace resilience in our spiritual lives. The core idea is that God's strength is made perfect in our weakness, allowing us to bounce back from life's difficulties. We're reminded of Paul's words in Romans 5:3-5, which teach us that our trials can develop endurance, character, and hope. This isn't about positive thinking or mental toughness alone but about relying on God's grace to transform our weaknesses into strengths. The message encourages us to step out of our comfort zones and take risks in faith, just as Peter did when he walked on water. By doing so, we open ourselves to experiencing God's power in miraculous ways, turning our sufferings into opportunities for growth and service to others.
