Finding God in the Unexpected

What if the answer to your prayers doesn't look the way you expected?

In 1 Kings 17, God provided for Elijah during a famine through ravens—unclean birds no one would have chosen. The lesson is simple but life-changing: stop looking for eagles when God is sending ravens. We often miss God's provision because it comes in unexpected packages.

This truth echoes in the life of John the Baptist. He didn't fit the world's picture of success, yet he prepared the way for Jesus and had the privilege of baptizing the Savior.

So what do the ravens look like in your life? Maybe God is using your pain, disappointment, financial hardship, loss, or brokenness to shape your purpose and impact others. When we stop judging the vessel and start trusting the One who sent it, we open our hearts to receive everything God has for us—even when it comes in ways we never imagined.
